In 2023, two families opened small neighboring shops in the heart center of historic Julian, CA. By cosmic happenstance, shop neighbors became dear friends and when the opportunity arose to take over an old farm stand with profound roots in Julian’s history, we banded together— two families, one shop, and created Patchwork Market.

With honor and homage to the property’s history built on an 18 acre orchard in the 1930’s, Patchwork continues it’s legacy as a specialty grocer and our small town’s primary apple stand— Supporting local growers, bakers, preservers, and craftsmen alike, Patchwork carries organic local produce, pantry goods, handmade and found goods for children and home, vintage clothing, and an abundance of seasonal plants and flowers. Down the line, Patchwork Market will also serve as a gathering space, hosting workshops and events for the community of Julian and beyond. Stay tuned and come visit soon!
